Liverpool - a lavishly designed cover by Klaus Voormann for Achim Schultz's (latest) album. The Royal Liver Building is a landmark symbol for Liverpool and was built to house the Royal Liver Insurance Group in 1850. It was official opened in 1911, when the city's economy was still centered around the port. In 1963 the Beatles would shine the spotlight on it once more.
