The Beatles just before their ascent to being the most famous band of all time: Rough, energetic and full of humor....but what was it really like back then? The Lucky Star Club Band resurrect the good old days of beat and rock'n'roll – the time before The Beatles began composing their own songs. Crispy Lemon, Reggi McIdol, Franky Frozen & Ring Tone captivate their audience with their engergy, harmonies and authentic sound of the early 60s. They play the classic line up of rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass and drums on instruments by Höfner, Rickenbacker, Epiphone and Gretch. Their program consists of early rock'n'roll favourites like Roll Over Beethoven, Long Tall Sally and Sweet Little Sixteen, and the Beatles big hits like Please Please Me, I Saw Her Standing There and Love Me Do. They'll of course be including songs all the way up to 1966.
